Daphni is a native of Pinellas County with over 40 years of nursing experience in the areas of gerontology, dementia, oncology and hospice care. As the former Veteran Relations Liaison for a local hospice, she educated the healthcare community both locally and nationally about the unique needs of Veterans at end-of-life. She is core trained as an assisted living administrator and certified as an end-of-life doula. Whether helping clients navigate through our complicated healthcare system, educating about treatment options or assisting with coordinating care that aligns with individualized goals, Daphni has always advocated for those she served. As a Care Manager Associate with Barlowe and Associates, her focus is to ensure our clients have intentionally arranged for their futures through in-depth Advanced Care Planning.
Daphni served on the Board of Directors for Honor Flight of West for five years. She is an active member of Better Living for Seniors of Pinellas County, and an honorary member of the Military Officers Association of America (Clearwater Chapter). She has volunteered with the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Suncoast Hospice, Honor Flight of West Central Florida and the Alzheimer’s Association. Daphni is a current member of the Aging Life Care Association® and is active in the association on a regional chapter level. She currently participates on the ALCA Florida Chapter’s McPherson Committee*.
