Liz has been an instrumental partner in 8 years of long-distance caregiving for my mother. She has seen us through multiple living situations, and has always been there to support my mother and her needs. I’ve relied on her sound advice in so many different situations and can’t imagine how my mother would have been able to stay in Florida as she wanted without Liz.

11 months ago, I was desperately in need of getting another CNA for my 86 yr. old mother living miles away. I called another agency, and they recommended that our family hire a professional guardian/care manager and recommended Barlowe & Associates. We quickly discovered that the care manager was exactly what my mother needed and was well worth it. An NFL quarterback—calling the perfect plays, initiating correct actions and handling the snaps. The care manager mastered the execution of challenging games with superb knowledge. I was amazed and impressed with her professional unbiased ability to “keep on playing.” I don’t know what I would have done without her during my mom’s final days. She made sure things were approached/handled exactly as my mother wanted.

Abby was my brother’s true hero and champion last week. He was having a rough time with excruciating headaches and was unable to get an accurate diagnosis. Abby recommended that he go to the emergency room and stayed with him all day. It was a very wise suggestion, as they were finally able to give him an accurate diagnosis.
Abby then coordinated additional home care services so that he had extended care over the next week. She also stepped in when a second visit to the emergency room was necessary, ensuring he was not alone during that difficult time. She spent extra time with him after normal business hours and even on the weekend.
I was with my brother and Abby part of the time and saw firsthand how effectively Abby navigated the healthcare system and used her knowledge and professional contacts to ensure that my brother had the support he needed. I could not have done that by myself.
